We have so many thanks to give to some great people who have donated to Children’s Miracle Network while we are on the road. There have been many anonymous donations. Here are some that gave their names.
Joe Weaver of Tri-Boro Construction and Rich Sutterby of Christian Motorcyclist Association in Baxter Springs.
A host of people we met at Cameron Trading Post just east of the Grand Canyon: a couple from England on a bus tour, Raymon & Eilene Crotts, Jimmy & Beverly Ross of Macon, NC, David Howard of Zebulon, NC, Keith Brasswell of Fuquay, Virginia and Fred & Carolyn Brasswell of Hillsborough, NC.
If you have been following The Ride for Miracles for the past 5 years, you have heard of our stories of Joplin. I am blown away on how this stop has transformed. This may be lengthy but I feel compelled to tell what it has meant to me.
2011 – This was my Rookie year. Rookies have this sense that they should not rock the boat. Always be ready when it is time to leave. Follow the guy in front of you. And learn from the guys that have been there before. At least that was my sense and feeling.
Tomorrow’s destination is Greenville, SC and we will complete the 48 states in 21 days. It seems like it was just a few days ago we left Midtown Medical Center in Columbus but it feels like an eternity we have been away from home. The days have blended into each other. We struggle to tell people where we stayed the night before. We have met so many wonderful people while on the road.
