Day 16 (Scott)

Meeting strangers in the middle interstate. Yesterday’s blog in action. We only had been on the road for about 45 miles on a three lane toll road, and we come to a dead stop. Cars stopped for miles. It did not take long for the guys to spring into action, well maybe this time it was the other way around. Well, maybe it was the other way around, they came to us… more like they swarmed on us. The guys were passing out cards, the little hands and feet, or any thing we had to tell the story. We had little kids sitting on our bikes. We even had some bring their own bikes out to put them line with us. We visited for over an hour and by the end of the stop we had lots of new friends and over hundred dollars.

Now for the rest of the day, TOLL ROAD. I don’t need to say anything else. The only highlight was watching a mother goose with all of her baby chicks in a line marching down the side of the road. I would have stopped and asked her how she managed to keep them all in line without straying, but at 80 MPH it’s hard to stop.

Sounds like a great way to pass the time! I enjoyed watching the feed yesterday while this was going on. I missed the bicycles, tho.

I am amazed at how this ride touches people all across the country. The stop yesterday was just another opportunity for you guys to spread some of the Miracle Ride magic. It is so great to see the guys reach out to strangers like that. That is part of being a Miracle Rider. Ride Safe.

I saw the bicycle in the line up and thought it was the cutest thing I have ever seen. Quite fitting isn’t it??? WOW!!!

It is strange how God works sometimes. That stop on the interstate was a way to reach more people.
