What a great ride! (Mike Jolley)

Well, the 2013 Miracle Ride is over and what a year it was.  Four new Riders that will now be part of our group forever and a closer bond between the other Riders that will continue to grow.  It is hard to explain to those of you who have never shared a three week (21 day, 24/7) common goal in the outdoor elements on the back of motorcycles to bond a group can grow into.  We got to share visits to several hospitals throughout the lower 48 States, came into contact with many people throughout America who shared our love for this country & The Children’s Miracle Network and the love of riding motorcycles.  All in all it was another great year and ride.  The great people of our area welcomed us back into town as hero’s, as they have done each year.  It is a very humbling feeling.  I am honored to be a part of the Miracle Ride and the Medical Center.  As I have said many times and I truly mean it from the bottom of my heart, “The Doctors, Nurses, and other staff members of the Children’s Miracle Network are the real hero’s in my heart”.  We, the Miracle Riders, are just a bunch of guys who get to ride around the country and bring awareness to CMN & raise money for the kids.  Thanks for letting me be a part of your world!  Sheriff Mike Jolley
