The story of joseph t. bear

On Scott's first ride, his best friend Kenny Townsend and his wife, who had seven failed pregnancies, were pregnant once again. Scott set out on the ride in hopes he might make a difference in this child’s life and others. He wanted to help friends who he knew needed a “miracle”. He was aiming to raise enough funds to purchase an incubator for the high-risk nursery for babies who are very premature and at high risk.

Unfortunately, before Scott returned home, Kenny’s wife ended up having their son Joseph prematurely. Joseph was too small to be able to make it. The very first high-risk incubator that Scott’s Ride was able to purchase, dedicated to Joseph, has saved and continues to save, the lives of many high-risk, premature babies. To honor Joseph, our new Miracle Ride teddy bear is named Joseph T. Bear. We hope J.T. brings a smile to everyone he meets.
